Hotel a Mount Vernon

“Toilet seat covered in mold, and mold throughout the bathroom. Was told multiple times that the manager would contact us about it, and they have not. I can't get a hold of them. Super gross location, do not go here.”

“Staff was rude and charged me a 50$ pet fee for support animal I've had since my discharge from the military. She is certified to notice and prevent several different health issues so I had no problem paying the pet fee. By law it was all illegal and I kept mouth shut, cause I reported their business like I am supposed to too the ADA.”

“They gave me a handicap room and the shower floor had a hole in it that was all taped up, the shower floor dropped 2.5 inches below the drain grate”

“Easy check in. Very clean facility and room. Would stay again. Won’t beat what is offered for the price. Only negative would be to add a few more breakfast items.”

“Went into my room when I was at work. Claiming he smelled smoke and that was a lie. I was appalled to find this out. The whole place smells like an ashtray and not to mention checked me into a a dirty room but did change it. I was visiting for work but I would not recommend anyone to stay here. Don’t leave your belongings inside either. Obviously, it doesn’t matter if the do not disturb sign is on the door. Manager is shady!!! ”

“Floor and bathroom were not very clean with hair in shower and floors. Dresser between beds had a drawer that wouldn't stay shut. Also the mattress for the couch bed was terrible, not clean and nasty stains in it. Room also did not have enough towels or bedding. Definitely disappointed for the price we paid for the room. Didn't look like much pride was in it anymore.”

“Had a horrible $475+ experience at Clarion. This was half the price with working AC. Room was smaller, yet spacious enough. Bathroom very clean. Don't pay $130 per night someplace else.”

“The night of our stay our flight was delayed. When we called the hotel (several times with updates) the front desk attendants were helpful and kind. Finally, after arriving late into the night, we were greeted warmly by name. The entire property was clean, modern, and fresh. Breakfast was a notch above the normal hotel fair. We left feeling energized even, despite the weather delayed flight, causing a little less sleep than hoped for.”

“The breakfast was pitiful and not what was advertised. The bathroom ceiling had spots of throughout. Lamps and picture frames were broken. Dead bugs were scattered around the perimeter of the room. Spider webs covered the corners of the room.”

“The elevator was out of service and our suite was only available on the third floor. We agreed to a regular room on the first floor with no offer of rebate. Generally speaking the cleanliness of the property was suspect. Twice cleaning supplies were left on our room and the bathroom floor smelled of foul mop water. We switched one night to a different hotel and had to get Expedia involved to get a refund from the hotel.”

“As a traveling nurse that visits the area regularly, I have found my new hotel. This is my second time here and everything is great just as the first. Clean, quiet, convenient, great breakfast selection, not Continental…real food! Staff is courteous and helpful. Not one complaint! 10/10 Best value in the area!!!”
